Green Ink Communications

As a freelance writer, I am comfortable working alone to prepare high-quality materials according to brief, deadlines and budget, as well as taking a more active role as part of a team. I am happy to work closely alongside clients, external experts and multiple vendors if the project requires it, and am accustomed to working with studio and digital teams to produce attractive interactive materials.

Prior to beginning my freelance career in 2015, I spent 8 years in a medical communications agency setting, gaining experience on a wide range of projects. Towards the end of that period, I led a team of writers on a busy account in a large independent medical communications agency, taking day-to-day responsibility for editorial account team outputs and ensuring effective delivery of a variety of communications outputs in line with client strategy. I was involved in the development, training and mentoring of junior team members and had a role in the development and presentation of new business proposals and pitches, yet retained a direct involvement in content delivery. I was personally responsible for drafting and developing a diverse array of different materials, and enjoyed developing my excellent working relationships with clients and external experts at congresses, advisory boards and other face-to-face meetings.
